If we don't start addressing this issue with a change in our culture we are going to be facing a crisis unlike anything we've ever dealt with. We need to analyze how food production and Big-Ag are depleting the carbon absorbing abilities of our soil while using grotesque amounts of water and contributing to a world market that works against agents of healthy change in terms of food sovereignty. Lastly, water is life. As we move toward a world that forces us to reckon with this fact we will see more and more fighting. It is important to remember that in this new era, we don't have to fight one another if we seriously address our overzealous use of water and cultural addiction to abundance.
